Name of Furbaby: Petunia Izakovic the Sphinx Cat

Name of Furbaby’s Human: Amanda Izakovic

Name of Furbaby’s Doctor: Dr Mandy Burrows

Petunia was six months old when I noticed she was very itchy and irritated, and had pimple-looking lesions on her head and body. It was awful seeing her in so much pain. I had taken her to the vet but the problem wasn’t resolved. I was at a dermatology talk when Dr Mandy Burrows asked if anyone had an itchy cat. I put my hand up.

Diagnosis

When I took Petunia to the Animal Dermatology Clinic, Dr Mandy was able to tell the type of skin reaction pattern straight away, and this was confirmed by testing.

Treatment

I learnt that compliance to aftercare treatment is a must, and the team at Animal Dermatology are great at making the aftercare treatment realistic.

Resolution

Petunia can finally be herself. She’s now super playful and full of life. I see Petunia with a happy and comfortable future.
